Loading New Tape

Although the instruction below looks complicated, once you've done it few times, the loading process can be finished in less than 30 seconds.

Open the storage cover in the center of tape hub.		Pull out the feeder plastic piece. (If you happen to lose the piece, use a small zip-tie with the head cut off.)

Snap on 3/4" tape over the hub.		Pull out about an inch of tape and place the feeder piece underneath the tape center.

Wrap both side of the tape under the feeder piece. Press tape firmly on the feeder piece.		Thread the feeder piece into the outer ring of folder assembly. (Note: DO NOT feed through the center hole.)

Make sure both rollers (marked 'F' and 'B') are pulled up. Thread the feeder piece under both rollers.		Once the feeder piece clears both rollers, grab the feeder piece and pull the tape through.

With tape all the way through, you are ready to set the fold width. But before that...		...Cut the feeder piece wrapped tape...

...and don't forget to store the feeder piece back in the storage area.		Before lowering the rollers, set the width adjustment setting to 'R' 5-6 range. (Use 'L' side for left handed operation.)

Lower the 'F' roller first and pull the tape though about 6".		Then lower the 'B' roller and again pull about another 6". Now you are ready to go. Just re-adjust the width setting to the desired setting.
